Bathroom towel racks require a simple installation process. Since wet towels may hang on these racks, it’s important to make sure they’re installed in a strong and secure way. The most important piece of advice I can share when installing a towel rack is to be certain you do not just install the racks into a drywall. Always hang one side on a stud in the wall. Without the extra support from the stud, your towel rack will eventually fall which will leave you with holes in your wall! In this guide you’ll learn how to install your own bathroom towel rack.
Step one is finding a spot that’s convenient to hang the towel rack. I’ve seen towel racks placed in locations, where other parts of the bathroom interfere. For example, placing the towel rack behind the door can cause problems when the door is open! I always recommend positioning the towel rack within reaching distance from the shower or tub, since you’ll need the towel upon completion of your shower or bath.
I’ve also seen towel racks placed in a position where the racks are exposed to dripping water. This will damage your towel rack over time, which will eventually cause the rack to collapse. At this point you’ll need your first tool, a stud finder. Use the stud finder to locate a stud in the wall in the area you plan to place the towel rack. The stud that you find in this area is where one side of the towel rack will eventually hang.
After choosing the location, it’s time to choose the height. The height will vary based on your preference and the people that will use it most. If you plan on hanging the rack in a bathroom that the children will use, you may want to consider hanging the towel rack on the lower side. You can also hang it at a normal height, but be sure they have a stepstool to reach the towels when needed.
Now that you’ve found a comfortable height, make a note on the stud using a pencil. Proceed by placing one end of the towel rack on the mark, while holding the other end on a horizontal line touching the wall as well. Make sure you have a leveler to confirm it’s on a straight line by holding it over the towel rack. Continue by marking where each spot will be placed, specifically the holes for the screws.
Grab your drill and make the holes in the marked spots on the wall. On the side opposite the stud, you’ll need to place an anchor for extra support. In order to accommodate the anchor, you’ll need to drill a larger hole. Measure this out by holding an anchor up to measure the size of the hole required.
Simply place the anchors on the weaker side once the holes are ready. You’ll notice one side of the anchor is wider, which is the side that will face out of the hole. Continue screwing in the other holes of the towel rack and you’re rack should be in place at this point.
Once all the screws are in, double check to make sure it’s secure and safe. Test it out with a few towels to see if it will support the extra weight, especially if they’re wet. Once this is confirmed, you’re new towel rack should be in place for years without any problems!
This author is extremely handy and enjoys remodeling bathrooms. He’s originally from the Mid-West where an electric towel warmer is a must during the cold winter days. He’s also capable of installing hydronic towel warmers, which requires plumbing work. More can be found at his site, electrictowelwarmer.org.

No matter how hard you wish for the back yard fairy to come and sort out your back yard; it ain’t gonna happen! Only you can make it look better.
Be honest with yourself and take note of where the improvements are essential. However large or small your budget, it will look better with a bit of time spent on it and some TLC. If you have lawn, are there bare patches? Is there peeling paintwork or shabby furniture? Make a list and prioritize so that whatever you do, it will be an improvement.
Patches of dirt where there should be lawn looks awful. A bit of sod will soon result in that green lawn that should be there.
It is a hard job, there’s no denying it, however it is quite cheap, not technically difficult and the result is stunning. While you’re at it why not plant some flowers or bushes.
You get the most stunning display from Roses, and they aren’t difficult to look after either. Any local greenhouse will show you the varieties and colors that are on offer and give you advice about planting and maintenance. Some are really hardy and take hardly any looking after.
If you really want to go all out to create a garden of beauty, why not have a pond in your front yard? The sunken ones made of plastic need to be right down in the ground so some digging is required.
When you have your pond in place the fun starts. Choosing your plants or fish can be really exciting, or maybe you have decided to have a fountain pond. This is a big decision that needs careful consideration.
If you enjoy sitting outside in the summer but want some shade, a garden canopy is perfect. So easy to put up and take down again, they are an essential item to protect you from the ravages of the sun.

Nothing in this world comes without cost. This is why so many people are looking for ways that they can save money on both day to day and occasional purchases they make. The most common way to do this is to use coupons. Just think of what you could do with the money you are able to save with the discounts to suit your purchasing preferences? Never again should getting a coupon when you need one be a chore.
You can get discounts on pretty much anything from car rentals to cereals with discount coupons and some will even offer you free tasters and days out.
There are different places where you will coupons. Some are on the items that you have already bought and others will come with free samples either handed to you, or in your mail. You can also find them as a promotion mainly for new services in magazines and in some newspapers also. The best way though to get hold of up to date coupons is to do so using the internet.
There are a lot of advantages to this method as you don't have to worry if you misplace it. When you wish to buy things directly from the internet you can benefit from just having the coupon codes which can be e mailed directly to you for easy accessibility when you need it most.
The fact that you have a database at your fingertips will allow you to get the discounts you want without having to flick through your papers. Within seconds you can type in the kind of discount you want and you will have all the latest information displayed in front of you relevant to your search so you do not have to look through the things that are of no interest to you.
If you think that someone else that you know will also like to make the same savings then you can share the link with them or forward an e mail if it is a general code being used for an online discount.
When you have to keep coupons in your purse or wallet until you are ready to shop you will find that they can run past their expiry. This is something that is not a worry with online coupons as you only need to search for them when the time is right rather than waiting for an opportunity to arise.
Before you make your next purchase of anything at anytime whether it is online or in person then why not see if there is a discount or freebee coupon that can make shopping that little bit sweeter? You never know what you can and can't afford until you look and after all, why pay over the odds for something you can make a saving on. The manufacturers want your custom so benefit from the discounts on offer.
I want to use a Travelocity promo code to go to my favorite vacation, Japan. Does anyone have one?

Want to host a webinar? Great! There are three things you must do in order to successfully hold a webinar… 1. Host a webinar 2. Conduct a webinar 3. Produce a webinar
Host a Webinar Before you can show your information to hundreds of people at the same time, you have to choose a webinar hosting company. There are several including GoToWebinar, Web Ex, Omnovia, Adobe Connect and so on.
Most webinar hosting companies require your attendees to “register” for your webinar. You decide how much information you require for the registration, but here is a million dollar tip. If you require FULL CONTACT information, then you can remind your attendees the day of the webinar with an email …or even an automated phone call using VoiceShot. How cool is that!
And if you have required their address as part of the registration, you can send them a piece of direct mail after the webinar to encourage more sales. You could even pick up the phone and call a few of your attendees to generate more sales!
So a webinar hosting company not only allows you to “register” your attendees, they also provide the technology so that your attendees can see your computer screen and hear your voice (either over the phone or by computer mic).
Conduct a Webinar After you have chosen your hosting company and gotten all the details set up, you will next conduct your webinar. Most people use a powerpoint in either slide show or presentation mode, but you can also use a spreadsheet, web sites on the internet, or even a video.
Here’s a warning about videos. Full-motion video will lag on most webinar hosting platforms, but the sound won’t. So if you have a testimonial from a successful student or client you want to show, go for it! The video portion may not be in sync with the audio, but they will see the person and hear his voice and that is very powerful for sales.
Another tip when conducting a webinar is to use the “polls” feature. Your attendees will love the interaction and you will get a good sense of where their obstacles are. If you identify their problem and then offer the solution, you will have a VERY successful webinar!
Produce a Webinar From your live webinar, you cna make a recording for a replay. This is not only courteous for those who could not watch your webinar, but it’s also strategic. Those who did not originally see it, can watch it and can even share it with others. By making a recording, you can increase your sales.
Start by recording your webinar on a second computer using a software called Camtasia. The second computer takes a spot on your webinar as a “viewer.” Turn on the record button and begin.
You will want to separate the recording into 8-10 minute chunks to avoid buffering problems for your viewers and then render the files in swf format. Camtasia allows you to combine these swf files into an attractive table of contents that makes it perfect for replays.
So there you have it…host a webinar, conduct a webinar and produce a webinar. It is really not that complicated and can make you a ton of money if you do it right!

It is pretty typical for individuals to attempt to resolve their debt dilemma by working with debt settlement programs rather than talking with a bankruptcy law firm. However, it is important to keep in mind that you do not have the insulation of the bankruptcy courts. Generally, it is better to have the protection of the bankruptcy system during a chapter 13 bankruptcy.
What will the financial settlement service do for your debt problems in Detroit? First, these agencies will need you to create a specific list of your outgoing expenses. They will then try to work out a deal of a percentage of the balance you owe to the credit card companies. It is important to note that these debt settlement services take part of your money to make payments to your creditors.
Individuals are hoping to protect their credit rating by doing anything to eliminate their debt. The negative with these debt settlement programs is that you are now sending them payments and they are sending them to the creditor. Often times they do not send out payments on a timely basis and their obligations are not binding so the creditor does not have to abide by the deal to accept payments for less.
Saving your credit may be essential to you. But, you don’t need a debt resolution program to work out a agreement with your creditors. You can do this yourself. Instead, you can always file bankruptcy and make payments to your creditors under the protection of court or Michigan Bankruptcy law. This is frequently done at a lower rate than what debt negotiation companies can negotiate. In addition, the court ensures you can afford to pay the deal. If filing for a Chapter 13 the payments range from 3-5 years based on your income.
Folks often inquire if these services don’t work then why are they still available? They can work depending on your situation. However, you are giving up authority of your financial situation and if you are worried about your credit, your credit report will still say that the account was settled for less than the total debt owed and therefore you are still tarnishing your credit.

For many individuals, couples, and families, buying a new house isn’t on their list. Many think it’s more expensive and out of their range. A new home could actually be the thing that saves you money.
Most people know that a decent home or apartment can be costly. This is especially true for bigger cities all around the world. If you were to purchase a home instead, you could be saving plenty of cash throughout your lifetime. Each month you pay rent and utilities, but more often than not a mortgage can actually be cheaper than a long term rental agreement.
Assuming that you have decent credit and can apply for a loan, a home or apartment purchase can be surprisingly cheap. The best way to go about doing this is to raise at least 25% of the total amount owed. The bigger your down payment, the lower your interest rates and the less you owe. This is an excellent way to start owning your first or second home. If you prefer, you can even buy an apartment for extremely low amounts.
An even better alternative is buying real estate and renting it out. Many more people are purchasing a large home and renting one or two rooms. If you have an $800 mortgage, you can charge each tenant in your home $200 and end up paying significantly less overall each month. This isn’t recommended unless you know your potential tenants, but it’s a much better option than pouring money into rent each month yourself.
One of the best things about your own home is the ability to have pets, children, and family members live with you. Most “rentals” require additional payments for a certain number of people, and outrageous add-ons per pet you own. This can result in much higher rent than you intended, which is why having your own home is ideal.
Now is the best time to buy real estate. Whether it’s a townhouse, apartment, the mansion of your dreams, or even land. These things are selling for rock bottom prices and companies are basically giving them away. There isn’t any reason why every American shouldn’t follow the American dream of owning a home. Right now tax credits for around $8,000 are also being offered to first time home buyers. This means you can either decorate your new home or put that towards your mortgage!
In Conclusion
New homes are cheaper than ever before. If you want to save money by owning instead of renting, now is certainly the time to hop on the real estate band wagon. You can have the home of your dreams in no time!

Saving money is not easy and is made more difficult if you have a short-term outlook regarding your personal finances. If, like many people, you are living from one pay cheque to the next, it is difficult to put some money aside for a rainy day or for a summer holiday. But what if you were to change your financial outlook into a medium to long-term one? You might believe that you cannot afford to think ahead and make plans, but in most cases you would be wrong. Most people should be able to save some money and with some effort, maybe even as much as 20 percent of their salary each month.
Step 1 - Income Analysis
First of all it is important to have a handle on where your income is going. Unless, we are on an extremely tight budget or are very money conscious for other reasons, many of us have never really sat down and considered what our money is being spent on - we just know that by the end of the month, it has all gone! You will know if you are consistently spending your money on unnecessary purchases, for example. Having this knowledge equips you with the control to change things a little or a lot.
Step 2 - Saving Money Mentality
Many people have never been taught to save and as children, immediately spent the money they received without any forethought. You often hear people say, “Life is short, if you want something buy it now”, but thankfully for most of us life is not really so short and along the way we will have to deal with both opportunities and challenges. Having some money saved will help you make the most of the opportunities and ride the challenges. Step 3 - Savings - Seeing the Big Picture
If you could save 20 percent of your salary each month, imagine what that would mean in real financial terms. For example, if you earn 2000 dollars per month and you saved 20 percent or 400 dollars out of every pay cheque, after 12 months you will have saved 4800 dollars! Regularly saving this amount of money would give you the financial freedom to take advantage of more of life’s opportunities. You could plan the special holiday you have always wanted to go on, buy the car that you have been dreaming about for years, or help put a child through college. When it comes to life’s challenges, having a lump sum put away could help you pay for private medical care or deal with an expensive plumbing problem in the home, all without having to turn to the bank for a loan and getting into debt.
Now Do Something Special or Pay Off That Debt! As we have already seen, knowing exactly where your money is going is the starting point. Next, start thinking about the big things you could achieve with some money in the bank. Some people compensate themselves for not having what they really want, by making many frequent small purchases and getting a temporary “feel good” sensation afterwards.
Rather than satisfying yourself with small purchases, such as new clothes and CDs every week or always buying the latest mobile phone, think about how much more satisfying it would be to save up and buy or do something special like going on holiday or important like paying off a debt. You can now do something which you previously thought was out of your reach, but is achievable with a little effort.
