Are there any student loans that do not require a cosigner or excellent credit?
Kimberly B asked:
I am interested in finding private loans only. I have applied for a Parent Plus and got denied so I am eligible for at least 4000 in a unsub loan. I have also applied for a sub loan. Unfortunately I am not eligible for a Perkins loan or any other gov’t loans. Are there any private loans that do not require a cosigner?
BUSINESS LOANS BANKS ARE SAYING NO, We CAN SAY YES! Get up to $100K

If you have a Social Security number and some credit history (even if not excellent) you can apply for a student loan through a bank without a co-signer. Sometimes your target school may have a tie up with a bank.
There are two sources for student loans — the federal government and private lenders. In order to obtain most federal student loans, you will first need to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In mostyou can combine all of your eligible federal student loans into one loan with a Federal Consolidation Loan. Consolidating also locks the interest rate you pay on your loan.
